I've been waiting for this update and I'm still not sure if I want to buy yet or not. Currently, I have a DELL 15" laptop running Vista and it's not too bad. But I want to get a MacBook. I guess I was just hoping for a completely redesigned MacBook instead of just a refresh. If they would give me the option for a matte screen instead of glossy and maybe a LED backlight screen, there would be no question.

I personally think the refresh was quite nice for the Macbooks.

It sounds to me like you're looking for a Macbook Pro...

There is no way I see myself spending $2,000 on a notebook. There is just no need for the power of the Pro model.

You should go into an Apple store and try out the newest ones if you haven't already. The update looks to be very nice.
