Why am I losing weight?

    Since I started lifting again about 1 month ago after about 6 months off, I have lost 10 lbs. I went from 148 to 138 now but I have been eating 3300-3500 cals a day consistent. I also look bigger now so how the fuck have I lost 10 lbs?

    you were expending more calories than you were consuming

    maybe, but I am eating more than I was and started to lose weight

    Possible newb effect, if you were off for that long; if you look bigger, it sounds like you're losing more fat than anything else.

    Recalculate how much you're expending vs. taking in. Otherwise, shut up and count your blessings and eat more food :rofl:

    i have calculated it, I don't think I need more than 3500 to gain considering I don't do any sports or cardio so I shouldn't be burning that much

    Logic is saying something but reality shows something else. Results are what matter though so eat more !

    i'll try that 4500 for the next few weeks and we will see what happens

    Jumping up 1000 cal can result in more fat than you want.
