No carry handle? Wow you must be a noob.

The carry handle is the most important part of the gun. How else are you supposed to pick it up? Its an essential part for all operators.

No sir, kevlar enforced forearm guards are the most essential part for all operators.

    Read the handbook.

I never said the carry handle was the most important part, I merely said it was an essential part.

    Read the post.

    Correctly.

Yeah, I'd like an eotech but I can't justify putting more money into a rifle I'm still learning to operate.

Case of ammo -- eotech -- case of ammo -- eotech --- :hsd:

Where'd you get your rail forearm? CTD is out of the one I want.

Midwest Industries. It isn't a free float, but when I bought it I honestly didn't know the difference. It's a 2 piece that I swapped on in 5 minutes without tools. Sturdy too.

The inclusion of "operators" implies sarcasm, I would think? :dunno:

Midwest Industries makes some GREAT stuff... and they're local to me!

Why did you go with that rear BUIS though? Shoulda grabbed their new SPLP! (slimline low profile)

I think the trigger, BGC, barrel, lower, those might be pretty essential parts

Actually the carry handle untill the adoption of red dot sights was the fastest proven way to get fast sight acquisition, faster than using BUIS', even today the carry handle is a must revolving around certain JSOC units depending on mission objectives, certainly you won't see many carry handles being used today by desert grounded SF units for the simple fact that it is not a waterborn operation. But rest assured any mission that requires a full covert insertion wether it be halo to water, submarine to water, or fast boat to water you will not see many red dot optics used. You mainly see them on the mission ranges, desert and in house to house scenerios.
