So im trying to cut back on the carbs and just eat healthier all around... so I bought some whole wheat tortillas. They aren't bad but the only downside is they break/split really easy. Do any of you use them and is there a way to help this out? or are any brands better than others?

its almost to much of a hassle to eat fajitas made with them... I might just switch back to white.:o

Make sure they don't say bleached or enriched white flour as most "whole wheat" tortillas and other novelty bread do.

I switched to whole wheat about a year ago. Got used to it, and have no issues.

    Maybe try another brand?

I just looked, it does. It says wheat flour then enriched white flour. Are there some tortilla brands that are all wheat flour?

    Here is the trick....

Take 2 papertowels and wet them. Wring out the towels and place one or two tortillas in between the damp paper towels... Microwave for 10-15 seconds...Magic!!!!!

Yea, they are usually the one that cost another $1+ a package (over the other "wheat" tortillas), just like with the loafs of bread. The prices stand out quite a bit.

Get the burrito size. If you're stuffing enough shit in there to break that thing then you need to make more than one whatever you're making. 22g fiber per tortilla FTW
