Not only did I get my secret santa stuff (I'm not saying anything until everyone get's theirs...I had one of those books though :o )

Anyways, we'll burn that bridge later...I ALSO got something I've always wanted. As some of you guys know, I'm somewhat of an emma frost fanatic and I was really enjoying the hell out of Yanick Paquette's artwork in Ultimate X-Men (his Psylocke is awsomehot).

So when I saw this, I had to have it...

5 spot in for size reference

Very nice. I think I like your piece from Tom Hodge better though.

    Where'd you get it?

    eBay

half the artists i like either don't sell their original stuff, or it's impossible to find thier dealers.

i'm still waiting on the ottley piece, and guy davis (BPRD artist) has started putting his Killing Ground pieces on eBay for great prices ($75-$125). i wish he'd just update his site, latest stuff he has in universal machine...from like 3 years ago :hs:

the itoya's seem to be the most popular, i've got an 11x17 that i picked up at wizard world, but it doesn't quite fit some of my 11x17 pieces. so i ordered the itoya 13x19 and cover the art in these 4mil mylars i picked off eBay. they don't slide too much with the mylars, but it's not like i'm shaking my portfolio around or anything.

Yeah, I think just about everyone selling art used itoya's. Maybe I should just use those instead of looking for frames.

i'm going to frame a select few, and i'll frame them with the mylars i purchased, but the itoya's are great for storage.
