Who was it that said PSP Go retail games are limited to 1GB?

I've been trying to dig into this statement and I'm pretty sure it's false.

As we all know, the capacity of a UMD is 1.8gb and, from what I've been reading, that's the download limit for PSP games, whether on the current model or on the Go.

There are already PSP games downloadable on the PSN that are larger than 1GB. Why would they limit that on the Go? Also, some PSX games (FFVII for example) are larger than 1GB as well.

There is a 100mb limit for PSP Minis but that's it.

Anyway, I forget who mentioned that 1GB limit (Fareo?) but I don't think it's true. If there's official word on it, PLEASE link it here. After some digging though, it seems to be false, which is a big relief for me.

Just thought I'd share that and hope we could get to the bottom of this before Thursday.

Also, What's up with Dissidia? No PSP Go release on launch? :sad2:
