    so he never had to buy ink cartredges and ink was dirt cheap

    I want to buy all the stuff to do it but I don't know what to get or where to get it :o

    I really want to make some massive rasterbations to hang on my wall, but I don't want to pay out the ass for ink :o

    it was awesome, it was like a normal printer with some kit added too it, I just can't remember any of the details :hs:

    The ones in our library print in shitty quality, you can see lines when it prints solid black (like in a rasterbation.) Plus it takes forever for .pdf files to send over to the printer via our jurassic networking system. :hs: Shitty state school FTL.

    you lose archivalness, color accuracy, depth, printer warranty, etc.

    i have the epson 4800 with 110ml inks but it can accept 220ml's also. very cheep per print cost

    I have a CIS. It works well.

    As Viper said, the ink is shit :o

    but its dirt cheap.

    yeah I'm not looking for super high quality with the ink, at least not for what I'm printing, and besides if it doesn't last I'll just print it again

    and I picked up an epson R220 off the open items shelf yesterday for $30 :bowdown:

    I picked up an r320 ro whatever for $29.99 from bestbuy open box.. I need some ink or it now.. I might just pick up the CIS. Awesome info. Thanks!
