I never really care for one until now. I'm really getting pissed having to clean under my tail all the time because all types of mud and dirt get thrown up there. Do rear huggers help from this happening and if so what brands does everyone use or can recommend?

I bought my 2004 SV650 used and it already had one on there. I never really cared for them, but the more I look at it I really like it. It really cleans up the look of most bikes. I've noticed that my rear wheel (the rim itself) is dirtier on this bike than on my last bike (w/o a hugger). I'm thinking that the road grime gets thrown of there instead of the undertail. It's kind of a trade-off, but I suppose I'd rather have it on the wheel instead of on the undertail AND me.

yeah I would definately rather cleaning my tires/rims then under my tail. Especailly the problem is not only under my exhaust but under my seat area/rear shocks etc...

Anyone out there that bought an aftermarket they can recommend? Unfortunately my bike did not come with one.

Anyone happen to know if a hugger from an 03/04 gsxr 1000 will fit an 03 600? I'm pretty sure the frame is the same between those so it should fit.

Aren't the swingarms a bit different? If they're the same then it will fit.
