Just wondering if using creatine supplement is standard practice here or not?

At the moment the only supplement I take (apart from the usual food) would be protein powder. I've been reading abour creatine on:

    http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/creatine.html

and it appears to help u develop muscle quicker as well as providing extra strength/energy for lifting.

monohydrate requires loading before its effective, requires more product for the same results, and causes more water bloat

Monohydrate doesn't suck, but CEE is better.

I don't take creatine just because of the cost, but if you're willing to pay for it it is probably one the best "bang for the buck" supps.

monohydrate is absloutly fine. Once your body reaches its maximum creatine saturation level it doesnt matter anyways

monohydrate doesn't suck, it works well for some people. but not everyone. i've noticed no sides with it, even when i dont drink a ton of water. i've noticed no water bloat.

however i will be buying cee when i'm about half way through my monohydrate just because i'm not reacting as well as i'd like to mono, and cee really is the superior product. it's like twice as expensive though. so whatever u wanna do.

and btw, no creatine monohydrate does NOT need a loading phase to be effective.. loading lets you make those initial effects come faster, but eventualy taking it in the usualy 5-10 gram doses will be just as effective as loading for a week then going to maintenance doses.

I used CEE once and woke up around 3 am with the WORST stomach ache ever. I was just about to drive myself to the hospital when it started going away

I heard that very little research was done on CEE... but on bulknutrition.com they are supposedly going to post some results. Personally I would stay away from CEE and go w/ the monohydride.

I don't get it, does creatine make ur muscles retain more water? I don't wanna be walking about with loads of water in my muscle juggling about..

    I've just read

"Once you stop creatine supplementation and your body clears it 100% (about 2 month process) you'll probably be back at your old strength and muscle mass levels. Of course the gains in mental ability (I've done this beore I can do it now) and tendon/skeletal strength increase resulting from these heavier workouts will remain."

So basically, you have to keep taking it to keep the strength up?? What good is that? I only want to take creatine for a few months until I've bulked up and increased in strength.. not keep having to take it forever.

I feel like I have much better fullness in the mirror when I combine CEE and r-ala compared to CM
