    I would think the media would refer a AR pistol as a assault rifle instead of a pistol.

    the way its written, I'm reading it like "cops used a 223 handgun to shoot the guy"

    In terms of writing, and in english, the way it is written in the thread title is stating that the cops used a .223 cal handgun to shoot the badguy. :hsd:

    Yeah the thread stater is dumb as the acticle itself states the bad guy used a .223 handgun to shot at the cop(s)

    After re-reading it, I can see how it can be misconstrued to mean the opposite, but who really gives a shit?

    Holy shit I saw this chase. I was at my friend's house about 300yds off I75, 15mi south of Bowling Green. I heard sirens and looked out to see about 5 state troopers and 5 sherrifs chasing a Chrysler minivan then a couple minutes later some more cruisers drove by.
