The snipping tool is going to be a surefire way of having photos used without our permission.

You can go on ANY site, flash, php, right click disabled, anything..

Simply open the snipping tool, and outline what you want to save, and it'll allow you to save as png, gif or jpg.

    Good Job Microsoft.

Windows Vista already has the snipping tool, no need to wait for 7.

Windows 95 was able to do this.

Print screen > paste in paint > cut and save what you want.

This. There's no way to protect your work to that degree. It's the cost of doing business on the internet. Also, people who disable right click are idiots, it makes websites annoying and does nothing to protect you from someone motivated.

Even if we didn't have prtscrn, even if Windows didn't have the snipping tool, even if OSX didn't have the grabber thing. Firefox still has Tools>Page Info which lets you take any media linked (embeded) from within the website directly anyway.

    So save your "thank you"s.

Images are stored in temporary files. Someone determined enough can save your .swf from your website and decompile it with their likely pirated SoThink SWF Decompiler and then export the images and do what they want. The point is, the snipping tool will streamline the process.

this is also why you resize your images before putting them into a flash gallery, otherwise they have the full res photos. :o

but if you are really worried about someone stealing your photos, don't post them online, period. if they are anywhere on the net, they can/will be saved to someone's local computer, all you can do is make sure they aren't getting high res images. :dunno:
