I have been working out everyday for a few months now...got pretty hammered last night and I am a little hungover right now but starting to get the urge to hit the gym...should I do it or am I only hurting myself?

Almost every sunday. It's kind of weird I've hit a lot of PR's being hung over on sunday's.

I usually give myself a day or so afterwards.

But nothing's better than waking up after a long night of drinking and checking out the extra vascularity in the mirror from the dehydration.

maybe dehydration > decreased BP > compensitory increase in CO( HR and contractility) > increased performance :eek3:

or maybe we just feel guilty for slamming 120 ounces of liquid carbs at 2am and work extra hard the day after :dunno:

I very rarely drink to the point of feeling hungover, but as long as you're not feeling sick or having a pounding headache it's all good.

My body prefers it because I get the blood pumping, sweat a bit, and get a good amount of water in while training.

I've done the latter. Fucked up my upper back doing heavy inclines, back arched, shit landed on my chest a little harder than I expected and I heard a pop in my upper back. Was out of commission for a month or two after that...never lifting after happy hour ever again.
