I need some new music, and nothing I'm finding is really hitting the spot.
deloused TMV or their new album...?
Uh... theres not much new thats really up there... all that comes to mind is old bands like King Crimson or Led Zeppelin
some of the same guys from TMV are in At the Drive In and the sound is simmilar
to me the lead singer sounds alot like robert plant
You could also try Emerson, Lake and Palmer. But that's dating back to 25 years ago.
Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot.
ehh i don't think ELP sounds like the Mars volta at all...ELP focuses all around Emerson's keyboard work, The Mars Volta is fusion of all instruments together.
you still need to answer this question to get a real answer. to people saying they are like no one else
Circa Survive. theyre not quite as experimental as TMV, but i think ud like them
jefferson airplane-white rabbit
Queens of the stone age..you should try them
not really them, more like kyuss
sparta blows. and cursive is nothing like mars volta
Try the Mahavishnu Orchestra... I may have spelt that wrong though
TOOL!!!!! - AEnima and Lateralus, fucking incrdible.
other than that, youd really love:
Miles Davis: Bitches Brew (crazy fusion)
Mahavishnu Orchestra: Inner Mounting Flame
Massive Attack is pretty cool.
oo-oo-oo, you'd think Liquid Tension Experiment was amazing!
um, you can try Rush allthough this is kind of an aquired taste(prog; their singer blows).
