By well rounded I mean good wrestler, good submissions from both top AND bottom, and good standup. I wouldn't consider Hughes well rounded because of his standup and bottom game not being as good as his wrestling and top game.

Id have to say... Yves Edwards.

Agree with shogun but gomi... I think he looked bad on his back against Azerado. He is great everywhere else though.

    how did he look bad?

in the first fight he was pretty suprised by azerado's hectic style, but after about 6 mins he had figured him out and then knocked him out.

in the second fight he had fought kawajiri already for 7 mins and still knocked out azerado's teeth. What's not impressive about that.

His standup was good against azerado, but when he took it to the ground, gomi was just holding on to azerado for a while until the ref stood them back up. At that point I was thinking, what would happen if the ref never interfered... I don't know, I just thought that he could have been a little more active from his back.

    <------

He stayed in the most dangerous guard in mma and stayed clear of danger

He stood with one of the best strikers in MMA and got the best of most exchanges.

Yes. Other than the Ryoto fight he's incredible standing up or on the ground. I wish Ryoto had been in the GP. I wonder why he doesn't get much exposure
