I might have 10k through an old ass .22 rifle. I shot that thing a ton when I was a kid, I didn't feel going through a box of 500 rounds a day when it was $7.

My glock 35 is well over 180,000 (5th barrel).

My open glock is about 140,000 (on third barrel)

My AR is over 120,000 (4th barrel, 2nd upper)

None of my other various guns are anywhere near 50,000

Cocaine makes you look cool, and helps pull bitches. Maybe if you picked up a coke habit, and still shot Glocks, you could score nudez of that Jessie chick for us?

Based on my ammo purchases. I log all the ammo components I buy and what I still have on hand. I used to try to log how much ammo I shot per match or practice session and it's just too much work doing all the math. So now I just log how much ammo I have in storage (I actually have a storage place as all the ammo is too much for my apartment) and how much I pull out of storage. I pull out ammo 10,000 at a time. I shoot 500-1200 rounds a week. I've been shooting seriously for 6 years now. I have been shooting not as serious for 12-15 years before that. I got the AR a few weeks after my 18th birthday (got the ak on my 18th birthday), I got my first pistol mac-11 on my 21st birthday.

So you can see I've been a gun nut for quite some time. Had my parents (also gun people) worried for a while but they can't argue now as the shooting is what got me my current full time job.

I got a number of sources. Pretty much whatever I can get a deal on and it shoots. For pistol ammo dillon had a pretty good deal on speer/atk, and rainier for a while. I bought from them 50,000 at a time. Whenever Angus at Ghostholster.com gets 9mm in we pretty much clean him out of zero's at 30,000 at a time. I got one guy who makes a run of serria bullets once a year, we order like 400,000 and have it trucked in. We then split that 8 ways. It's scary but it's actually cheaper on the freight.

I got a armscour connect that I haven't used in a while. There is a local manufacturer golden west that has pretty good ammo but kind of expensive. They do work some bulk cash deals out the back door if you buy at least 10k at a time.

Slugs I buy by the case, birdshot I clear out walmart 5 or six times a year would love to buy a skid of it but it just takes up too much room. For the specialized stuff like my special door blasting long range plate birdshot I load on a friends press. number 2 or 4 shot loaded hot. The buckshot I buy by the case from my swat buddy.

There is also a local guy that sells ammo components at the matches. He always calls my buddies and I when he is placing a order for primers, powder, or bullets. We jump him together with him for really big orders to save a little $$$ on components, haz mat, and freight.

When you shoot these kind of numbers there is kind of a logistical side to it. This year I'm going to try to write off my shooting expenses as job related.

Oh we often clean out the primer guy at the gun show too. He calls us and we tell him yeah bring 25 sleeves of primers for us (5000 primers to a sleeve).

Also as scary as how much I shoot I have several buddies that shoot more and have shot for longer than I.

I thought you got your bullets for free and just reloaded for someone Yar?

Yeah, I hop around to too many guns to stay consistent. I can give you general figures, but that's all they are. I don't really keep count. I know I bought 25k rounds maybe 6 montsh back that's long gone. Then placed another order for 18k rounds in March, and I'm down to 3k rounds. I get in on bulk deals here and there.

Here's how they bring it to my Navigator...

Besides, it's called incriminating evidence, I'm married and want to stay that way. lolz

I heard a rumor that it's against federal law to be in possession of more than 10k primers at a time. Thank god I only have 9,999.

My dad and i shoot IPSC, I dont shoot nearly as much as him though.
I have over 80K in my Para .45
Old man has well over 200K, he finally cracked the base of his barrel around 180K.
The only thing that holds him back is the guy that he buys bullets(he reloads) from goes on back order.

Rite on, another IPSC shooter. :bigthumb:

These round counts are not nearly as impressive are they. :) Just as Yar has said, I am no where near being the top "high round count" shooter in my area.
