I remember someone posting HD vids of their cars dashboard...

Who are you? Details on camera? Long use review?

    'twas me.

    Canon HG10

love it. haven't used it much at all. Taking it to mexico on saturday & africa next month. will have plenty to review after that.

low light it's okay ... better than i thought it would be after reading reviews ... outside in sunlight, it's great.

steady shot isnt' terribly impressive ... it was much better on my 10yo Sony minidv camera.

if you (or anyone else) buys an HG10 (30gb drive, IIRC), let me know - i accidentally bought too many batteries. :o (bought 3 2-packs instead of 3 individual packs) ... whoops

I have an HV20. I like it, but it's spot in my Crumpler has been taken by my 14-24 2.8 lens.

The Canon HV20 was just replaced by the HV30 which looks badass (becasue it's black) and it takes amazing shots. It's my cam of choice on a consumer budget. Pro-sumer? no idea.

No, I'm not uber rich. The company owns those. I just get to use them.

I rarely use the HV20 as is, and didn't think the upgrade was worth it, esp since i got the HV20 for around 600.
