Seems like there are some pretty knowledgeable people on here and I bet there are some quick cars. Who wins?

I'm sure I'm not the quickest but my civic is pretty fun.

2200 lbs and 339 whp. I would guess high 11's on a nice drag radial. I don't have track times so I won't contend.

Lol that's all you could come up with? You must have a lot of friends. :coolugh:

I was up on a mountain run with some friends and was joking around. I guess that makes me a total douche. My girlfriend of 4 years seems to think I'm classy enough. :fawk:

[IMG] 533AWHP but that was on 31PSI and and as a manual

Not sure if it is the fastest but it definently moves 3100-3200lbs with me in it, AWD and now it is a push button auto only running 27PSI. Still should run mid to low 11's and if I get a nice run and up the boost again I might nip a high 10 second run. Oh forgot 1990 Eclipse GSX

3224 pounds, 255 hp. Supposed to run a high 14 stock, several 5.5 gen Maximas with automatics (like I have, couldn't find a 6 speed) are into the 13s with just basic bolt ons. Haven't heard of any quicker than mid 12s though.

I thought this was a who has the quickest japanese car thread, not who has the most Hp.

Hahawhat, those are some impressive numbers, too bad you have a 1st Gen, I like the 2nd Gen the most, anything after that is just fugly.

Deuce, 12psi and 250 is the best you could do? what do you drive?

I'd be pretty sad if high 11s was the fastest eastern import :(

All of JFM's stuff is flow tested and it made great gains from the stock one, I'm very happy with it and mid-range wasn't sacraficed.

It was trapping high 126-128MPH which is right about where the average crotch rocket (600) runs stock with a normal rider. That was before the detune and switch to an auto. Like I said, I hoping for high 10's this year on a 100% street car running 91 octane and meth injection no nitrous.

Really? I guess it just doesn't look that smooth to me. Seems like you might be losing some airflow to the #1 piston. :dunno:

I guess stuff like this just looks more....right....to me:

    the end result (basically):

If you look at the pic you can see it angles down towards the last runner like a Magnus. I'll see if I can get a better pic. [IMG] maybe you can see the angle in the picture.

No, I see what you are saying, but to my eyes, it looks like you are going to get a high pressure zone on the cylinder farthest from the TB. Admittedly, I don't know what the inside of the plenum looks like, but it doesn't look like that good of a design to me :dunno:

    I miss this car.

Burnout/heating up the tires video is here.

The dyno was done at 24psi. The car ran at 30psi most of the time. :)
