Since it looks like semi PKM recievers will be coming sometime this year, I wanted to order a parts kit but Impact Guns has the best price I've seen so far but they're out of stock :wtc: Anyone seen better then $1299 for a Romy kit?

the better question is where are you gonna find linked 7.62x54?

but that would be a BAD ASS gun to have, even if its only semi-auto

I've bought surplus 7.62x54 that was linked before :dunno: also I believe the PKM uses a fabric link which is reusable.

prototype US made reciever on kit being tested

I think Robinson makes PKM recievers, and builds PKM's off of parts kits for LE. However, I could be wrong about the recievers, and as far as I know, they're all post-samples/LE guns only, no semi's.

Yeah I've seen a few Post samples for sale, no semi reciever on the market yet couple people have prototypes out for ATF approval.

I feel compelled to own one.

It's odd, though, that semi-auto only versions of LMG's never seem to stay around very long. I guess in most cases they've priced themselves above what most *normal* people can afford.
