So I'm 25 and fairly strong and in decent shape but my fat slob of a dad is still stronger than me. For you older people, do you have old man strength? When did it start to kick in? When did you notice your hair falling out and your muscles finally growing bigger and getting stronger? I hate being weak :wtc:

Up to a certain point as age increases so does the ability to use your muscles more efficently.

his "old man strength" didn't appear overnight - or at a certain age.

It's from years of physical labour/athleticism.

My step dad hasn't worked in the steal industry for 12 years, and can still easily pin my 205lbs/27yr swole step-bro.

    years of hard work man

Yeah, old man strength pisses me off.

I see dudes in their 40's at the gym that look like they've never touched a weight and are repping 275 on the bench.

My grandpa hasn't lifted a weight since college football (67 now), has had cancer 2 times, and is still ridiculously strong.

I was 18 or 19 before I finally was outwrestling my father who's 30 years older. Of course that first time I was about to pin him pissed him off so he karate chopped me to the throat and pinned me when I was gasping for air.

My dad is 62 and about 165lbs. He can run longer then I can but does not poses a level of "old man strenff" higher then my level of strenff.
