I have a stick of jerky post workout. 150 cals, 2g of fat and 28g of protein. Only bad thing is that it has a SHIT load of sodium.

Oh and sprite zero is the DEVIL.

jerky is great for cutting. as long as you stay w/i your calorie range, you'll lose weight.

That and pork rinds were my favourite snacks especially when cutting. Have you tried those Wolverine Turkey nuggets?

If I had to venture a guess, it's probably because sodium aids in water retention to a point. Once you get past that point, sodium becomes bad for your body by adversly effecting water retention and dehydrating you, and it aids in raising blood pressure or cholestorol or something I think....

But who cares.. sodium is fine, especially if you're drinking enough/more than enough water every day.

I ended up spending 75$ on ribeye to make beef jerky. came to 20lbs (before smoked). anyway, i'm now officially sick and tired of beef jerky. I still have 2lbs dried that is uneated. I did this over 2 months ago.
