seeing all you guys talk about your M3's and sutff makes me jealous...

Here in thailand, if you can buy an E46 M3, you can probably buy your self a diablo in the states..

there is an amazing 300% charge on importing cars that have over 3.0Lt engines... into thailand..

fucking hell.. thai's would have to pay around $180,000. > Around 7.6 million baht.. :wtc: i can't wait till im going to uni there.. got to get me one of those..

    :rl: the Thai goverment

Impreza STi? i could probably pick one up for $80,000, which i mena people can afford here in thailand.. but is it worth it? especially when u know u can practically move to live in a different country and still have enough money left over to buy your self a STi

    shit... im dieing over here.!!

there is also a very high import tax for all cars, especially european. for example, if i wanted to buy a 318i, that would cost me 2,300,000Baht.. which is like $54,000 haha.. shit

Could you not import an M3 in parts, say body, engine etc. then reconstruct it?

Technically that isnt importing the whole car, which I'm assuming the tax would be levied on.

I'm sure your life is going to come to an end if you don't buy an M3 or Sti with the money you don't have.

    Cars are like, soooo important.

Its not a case of life coming to an end, but of how much better Pottenza's life could be if he wasn't deprived of the worlds best performance cars. :big grin:

I read in a Eurotuner mag that a guy took a average 1993 323i and turned it into a e36 M3, without the motor though. It might be something to concider, just take it one step further and add the M motor. :wavey:
