How do those of you that work in an office carry daily, assuming you carry into the office. I wear a tucked in button down shirt 90% of the work week, i guess i could carry underneath a jacket but during summer months i dont wear a jacket to work. Carry it in my briefcase bag maybe?

Just curious how you guys do it.

when I tuck my shirt, I carry a j-frame in my pocket mostly. I can also tuck my CTAC, but I don't think it conceals as well that way.

I just don't actually carry into the office. The odds of me needing it inside my work are almost zero, along with in the parking lot. It lives in my car most of the time. When I'm out of work though I just slide the .45 on a paddle in and rock out if I'm in a place I think I may need it. Although most of the time I just carry the kel-tec since I wear a polo style work shirt, untucked.

Strictly forbidden by my employer. Not that I have any confidence in "security" to do much anything other than sporadically bother people about ID badges and prowl around the parking lot in their golf cart, but unemployment is a very real danger while violence at the workplace seems a bit less so.

My carry piece is a Kel-Tec P3AT, so it's a little pocket pop gun .380. I stick that in an Uncle Mike's cheapy size 2 pocket holster, and then stick it in the front right pocket or back left pocket of my khakis. People just assume it's a cellphone or wallet.

Agreed. It's specifically noted in the employee handbook that firearms are grounds for instant termination. I usually just leave my piece in my glove box since I've been on this assignment. The last job I worked, the owner was a gun advocate. Everybody was packing there.

I usually leave mine in the glove box. There's nothing in the handbook that says I can't carry....but I'm pretty new there, I don't want to chance anything yet.

if/when I do I'll probably carry it in a bag.

It lives in my bag while I'm at work. I holster and unholster in the restroom on my way in or out.

As soon as I get something I can carry in my pocket, I'll do that.

    My employer doesn't have a weapons policy...or drug testing...FTMFW.

RJ, think a G19 would fit easily in there? Or a 26 is as big as you can get?

I have both. they make the CTAC in what they call a "slide" version, which fits the 26, 19, 17, 34, and 17L (open on the bottom end so the slide fits through) I have a regular CTAC for my 19, and one for my 26, that are closed on the end, fit to the proper lengths...

So... yes and no lol. I carried the 19 daily before I bought the 26, concealed just as easily.
