Why didn't I think of that?
they've got them at HCE and I've seen them pop up on the forums for sale once in a while
I hear mixed reviews...some people like em others hate em
I guess it just depends on the price. If they're the same or more expensive than the Nikon ones, I don't think its worth it!
you are talking about that expodisc right?
No, I'm talking about the normal lens cap that Nikons come with. I bought one for the 70-200 that I lost and it was $20. If these things are that price, I don't know if I would choose that vs. something maybe a little cheaper.
I know what my problem is...your pic is blocked by websense
These things are $45-$65.
I have one of these for my 50mm....
I have used the one that girth posted... Fucking thing SUCKS!
but these are mucho better... just pop it on or hold it in front, photograph in the direction you will be facing, set the custom WB, and 60% of the time it works every time! (the only 40% is when you forget about it and go to another area with different lighting and forget to reset the WB)
No thanks, I'll do without.
MY WB BRO, LET ME SHOW YOU IT
*cough* whibal card *cough*cough*
i have one of these as well ... buy it in the largest size needed, then you can just hold it in front of any of your smaller-diameter lenses.
i've only used it a couple of times, but it seemed to work jsut fine.
Compared to an Expodisk, thats perfectly reasonable
though, i lost the lens cap for my 50mm so I bought the 52mm one to double as the cap and white balance since they were out of caps when I went
where are these from?
I know they are sold under OPTEKA and many other brands..
I got mine at the local camera sales and repair shop (not ritz.. BIGGER, BETTER!) for like 10 bucks. and it was packaged in their own stuff.
a whopping $25
Geez, where have you been.. buddy?
i do it the old fashioned way
