Whistling noise when revs are rising...

    I keep getting this whistling noise when revs are rising... it even happens when the headunit is off. Since it happens when its off as well, that makes me think its something else? I don't want to spend money on a noise filter thing if I don't have too. I don't recall this noise before I had my system installed.

    Check the ground on the alternator.

    If it's not that, it's more likely the blinker fluid than the air filter.

    Check your grounds yet, including the alternator's? Next step is to rectify power input to the amp, or in laymans terms, put a cap between the battery and both amps. The latter suggestion here will kill most of it.
