which year bmw M3 is the easiest/most feasable to mod?

    so the 95 is an ok year? i heard some m3 motors have issues just trying to figure out which year to buy.

    alrighty so a 96-98 then. anything go wrong with them or just wear and tear mantinance?

    tranny = no good in e36...but i'd agree w/ everyone saying thats ur best bet...e46 i wouldn't touch w/ a 80ft pole

    so the manual tranny would be the only way to go in the 96-98. also when i do buy one what are some things i will have to replace mantanance wise?

    those two alone will answer all your questions

    1995 might be hard to find with low miles which youll prefer if going turbo. It is the easiest to modify and will probably be the cheapest. E36s last a life time with proper care.

    E30 is the only TRUE m3, but e36 is easier to mod.

    Not actually knowing, but knowsing another shitty tranny building company I will take a stab in saying VW.


    OBDI used to be easier in finding modifications for, but now companys have made just about everything for OBDII. The 96-99 E36 engines are 3.2 litres oposed to the <95 which are 3.0. Though the best would be to get a e36 with a bad motor and do a euro swap. :drool:
