A&P Which wide angle lens?

    Im between two wide angle lenses...

    Tamron 11-18 f/4.5-5.6
    &
    Tokina 12-24 f/4

    Which would you choose and why?

    I like the sound of hte constant aperture, but I still don't have a wide angle for MY d70, so I dunno *shrugs*

    I bought the 12-24 and so far im VERY happy with it, sorry I cant help you with the choice though

    I can get the Tamron for $569 and the Tokina for $499, the only thing though is after I purchase the Tamron, i'll have it in my hands. If i buy the Tokina, i'll have to wait a week or so.

    I'd get the Tokina because it's cheaper and the perfroamnce is about the same. You get 1mm wider on the Tamron though and that's a pretty big difference. Depends what you need. You could wait for the Sigma 10-20mm and see how that performs as it's even wider and cheaper than both.
