    I went to alltheywhey.com and they have 3 different kinds of whey: Whey Protein Isolate, Whey Protein Blend, and Whey Protein Concentrate. I dont know what the differences between them are. Any suggestions on which to order?

    isolate = fastest absorption
    concentrate = slowest absorption
    blend = mix of the two.

    Depends on what you want. Their isolate is the most tasty/easiest to blend, but I think you'll be fine with the blend ;).

    isolate has more protein in it per serving (something like high 70's or low 80's) and blend has less (~70%)

    The blend would provide your body with a maximum absorbtion time. Since it would include the quckly absorbing isolate along with the slow absorbing concentrate at the same time.

    On a semi related note, you might want a blend of all protiens. I recommend Matrix 5.0 or a similar combo that has casine and egg protiens, which take upto 6 hours to digest. They are great before bed to keep you anti catabolic during the night. the matrix stuff is 5lbs for $29.99 on 1fast400... not too bad a price.

    I'm not too hot about it right now. I'm trying to find the perfect whey to water ratio. If there's too little water I hate it. I tend to like it more watered down with a lot of ice. Then I drink it like it's a snapple or something.

    The placebo of a fruit-tasting protein shake isn't too attractive, so I'm trying to trick myself into thinking it is like crystal light.

    I think the problem some people on the BBing forum had with Matrix was that they didn't list how much casein is in a serving.

    Get the cheapest. The difference is the amount of non-protein in each. However, isolate usually tastes best. Whatever you do, don't get allthewhey casein. It tastes like cardboard.

    I'd get the blend. Best bang for the buck. I just ordered a flavor sample from them and will be buying a 25lb box from them soon

    Whey Protein Concentrate (unflavored)
    Serving Size: 28.4g
    Calories: 113
    Protein: 22g
    25lb = $85.59

    Whey Protein Blend
    Serving Size: 28.4g
    Calories: 108
    Protein: 22g
    25lb = $85.59

    Whey Protein Isolate
    Serving Size: 28.4g
    Calories: 104
    Protein: 25g
    25lb = $145.50
