I can't decide :noes:. and I'm working on a college student's budget so I can't afford a tag or breitling or anything you watch snobs might suggest.

obviously I could go for a trusted name like seiko or tissot, but I want something different. I like the style :dunno:

I'd get a more traditional looking watch. They both suck cock.
If you're going to get it though, I'd get in the lighter colour.

that's like wearing purple spandex in place of jeans and saying "i want something different"

different is good, but you want to stick within the realm of reasonability.

did you not see me say "I like the style?"
    :hsugh:

just because watches have always been rather conservative with round faces means since people first started wearing them means that this is too radical? I love it

I don't like either watch personally. What is your budget? You can get a genuine Seiko watch for around 2-300 bucks.

    do people not read?

I've owned "traditional" style watches before. I have a seiko right now, along with another chrono. I love the style of this watch and it being different is only a plus. I don't want another Tissot or Seiko.

What's the difference between you liking that weight-scale watch and a person liking purple spandex pants? I'm just telling you this because that watch looks atrocious and bends the rules a little too much.

here's some watches that bend the rules well:

just get the lighter one (everyone hates the watch and is recommending dark... so go lighter and agree with me)

I really don't care if others don't like it. I'm asking for the opinions of people who do. and comparing something as outrageous as purple spandex to this watch is exaggerating just a wee bit :hsugh:

what rules? who made said rules? are they just based on what we're all "used to?"

what about all the ridiculous sneakers and overly tight jeans that people here wear? doesn't that bend the rules regarding what we're all used to a mature adult wearing? how is this any different?

I like the look of the lighter one a little more, but I'm afraid it isn't quite as versatile as the darker one :hs:

i think they both look awesome, just depends on what you want to wear it with.. the dark one seems more versatile as far as color goes, but the actual style of the watch fits with the lighter one a bit more i think. i like the darker one though.

Personally I like the black or white one but of the two you posted I'm more of a fan of the dark one. I don't know why people are hating on this watch.

both colours are nice but I think the watch might not always be so practical, the time part is small and might be hard to read in a rush

I don't care for either really, but I think which one you get depends on your skin tone. contrast = better :o
