Which TV should I buy?

    sony is always preferred

    I don't know how you can get it at $150, unless it's used. But when comes to TV, it's Sony. Sure there are some brand model that can compare to Sony, but the one you pick to go against Sony is no competition. The only thing going for Apex is price.

    The Apex you linked to is a regular screen TV. I bought the 20" flat screen from WalMart for $188. The picture is very good, right on par with the quality you get from a Sony Trinitron flat screen. It has plenty of inputs for a variety of sources, including S-Video. The only thing that seems to seperate it from the Sony (besides cost) is build quality. For my purposes its fine, but it seems kind of flimsily built. For example, when you push the RCA jacks into the rear inputs, the panel gives in a bit. Stuff like that.

    But for the $$$, it's a hell of a value.
