COD 4 has a good single player experience.

COD4 has a short, bland single player experience. I'd take the leap with bad company if I were in your shoes.

the gunship mission in cod 4 is fun though.

buy a few months of WOW subscriptions and hit on everything that moves.

it was short. It got the basic combat right, but it kept making terrible use of it. it does have some variety, but the plusses it gets for that are taken away because every time it falls on it's face, except for the airship. the story was barely more then generic shit.

everyone says the saving grace was it's multiplayer, but I stick to tf2.

actually, everyone says the single player was great, and was only lacking co-op.

split bad company and COD up with GTA4, the controls are similar between the 2 FPSs but not identical and i found my self pounding on COD controls in BC. BC had a pretty good single player and should at least be rented and played thru.

Play CoD4 then GTAIV and then BC.

CoD's is the best by far, but it is short (although standard length for shooters).

GTAIV may have disappointed many, but the story is solid and enjoyable.

Bad Company's single player is weak. It's basically just training for the multiplayer. After you play a few levels, it's all pretty much the same.

COD4's single player was good, but short.
COD-WAW's single player is one of the few games i actually stopped playing because it was so broken, frustrating, and unnecessarily difficult.

BF:BC was an awesome experience. story was fun, sound & visuals were amazing, good variation in the gameplay (just like COD4), etc etc. definite recommend.

Already have an 80 priest decked out in naxx 25 gear, got the server first achievement for clearing it. Quit in january and don't plan to go back :wiggle:

But I was already into BF:BC a bit so I decided to start playing it again, I love the multi so the single player has been fun. I'll prob get on live soon and play again haha.

Plan to beat cod4 before MW2 comes out, so I got time.

Gta isn't really a priority, seems just like the others with updated graphics.

I'd actually put those in the same order for multiplayer as well.

Personally, I loved GTAIV but I seem to be in the minority. The DLC is rolling out for it now as well and the first episode got some great reviews.

i liked it, but the nitty gritty kinda graphics got to me sometimes. plus the controls felt like my dude was running drunk most of the time.

but i do love playing online just to run other players over

It was a short but fun experience. You're recommending BF:BC over it which has terrible AI and similar kill, checkpoint, die, kill, checkpoint, die and even more repetitive gameplay for SP :hsugh:
