I'm getting a new truck some time soon and was wondering which truck I should get, I want to go mudding with it but also something that runs good and wont break easy. I will use it for hunting and other stuff too. I am mainly looking at the Sierra right now because of things I have heard about them.

I say go with the F-150 with the 5.4L if you don't mind the interior and the ultra-gay floor shifter (or just get it with the column shifter). Proven, solid truck

    Otherwise, get the sierra/silverado

Honestly man, you really cant lose anymore. All 3 are making great products these days. If i had to pick one, i'd go with the dodge, for the lifetime warranty, and the styling. I'd go with a General Motors second, and Ford third because they are just about due for a face lift.

I agree the warranty is marketing genious... However, there is a REASON they need to offer that warranty. Not saying they're bad trucks... A friend of mine SWEARS by them, and he has had good experiences with them... And s.ore. does have a lot of dodge trucks running around... However, they do tend to end up last place in most reviews, and there are some pretty nasty horror-stories.

    Dont go GM....

You said you want something that will not break easily. IFS (inferior front suspension)

    Go Ford or Dodge.

the 1500 Mega Cab is a half-ton for insurance and capacity-rating purposes... but it's built on the the 2500 frame and suspension.

Good to know if I want a SFA truck. Of course, Megas are funny looking.
