I've heard there's a new X-Files movie in the works, supposedly Chris Carpenter, David Duchovony, and Gillian Anderson are already having talks.

    BLAM. X-Files 2.

Or how about a NEW Conan (Ahhhhhhhhhhhnold the Governator) movie?

Which Sci-Fi or Fantasy franchise would you like to see a NEW movie from?

I was really happy with the way they did Terminator 3, and I'd like to see a 4th one, post apocalypse. We've had 3 movies of Intro, now I want to see the meat of the story.

And I want a series of movies of the stories in The Silmarillion. Sean Bean should play either Beren or Turin. He's such a badass that he deserves a bigger role than just Boromir. And it's reasonable that his great xbillion grandfather might look like him.

I thought they butchered the terminator franchaise with that movie. they could of and should of left it ending @ terminator 2. However they could of make t3 volerable if they had: a - james cameron directing, b - actors who could act, and c - lose all the stupid one liners, and the little memories that the terminator had in t2, it doesn't make sense how he would know those things.

Terminator 2 was one of the best movies of all time, then they turn around and make one of the worst. I for sure won't be seeing the next one.

Sorry its just a touchy subject for me.

T3 was good. Yeah it would have been better without the cutesy shit like "I wonder who he's going to beat up to get clothes! I wonder what kind of sunglasses they're going to sell with this one!"

But the story went where it should have. You can't keep making movies about averting the disaster. It's inevitable, and they need to get on with it.

And what memories did he have that he shouldn't?

When I watched it, I just figured that he was programmed to know where to look for keys and stuff. And like "talk to the hand" he learned from the gay stripper. :dunno:

See, now I thought Russell's was much better and more believable than MacGuyver's

Russell did a good job as the brooding, regretfull, son just died Jack O'neill. Richard Dean Anderson turned it around, dumped a bit of the sadness, turned up the sarcasm and made O'Neill his own.

    Anderson's O'Neill > Russell's O'Neill

Halo could be a great movie if they do it right. Wouldn't want it to be just another thrown together movie just to milk the game's popularity.

I'd love to see the Highlander movies go on with the tv show cast and take off from there. That was a great cast, cool charactors with a lot of development, HEAVILY developed storyline and MUCH better fighting than the Lambert movies. The action in the last movie, with both, was toned down a LOT from the show so that Lambert wouldn't look totally out of place. They could really kick it up now. Adrian Paul kicked ass.

Also, I can't wait for the Farscape movie, even though that'll be tv, not theaters.

There is supposedly an Iron Man movie in the works already....

    which = good IMO.

but they have to use Timothy Dalton as Tony Stark...

    otherwise, it'll suck :o

I think Tom Cruise was wanting to play Tony Stark. He'd probably bring the star power to get a killer budget for the flick to be done right, as well as do a good job.
