I'm looking to build a new computer and I'm still figuring which video card I should get. I've come down to the following, but I'm having trouble finding good prices on them, so I'll take any suggestions on finding what I need, and price for them.

NOTE: I need something with dual display!
(I'll list them in the order of what is most suitable for me price and performance wise)

    1) ATI Fire GL X3-256
    2) ATI Fire GL V7100
    3) 3D Labs Wildcat VP990
    4) 3D Labs Realizm 800 (Can't afford but would kill for)
    5) ATI Radeon X800 XT
    6) Nvidia GeForce 6800 Ultra

Please, give me links, prices, commenst anything. :x:

I use newegg for everything. I would also go with ATI.

everything at pricewatch is either false or from a horrible shop.... I avoid pricewatch alltogether.

I've been a die-hard ATI fan for my computer career, but I must admit that the 6800 is a better card than the X800... I even went so far as to purchase a 6800GT... The drivers are a lot nicer, too.

tom's hardware is probably one of the worst sites to get information... they are VERY biased. I know the outcome of his articles before I read them (only have to see the title) and they go against every other respected site, and my own observations.

I have the BFG 6800 GT OC... it isnt doing dual display, but the graphics are amazing, it was well worth the $$$ and I highly recommend anything from that family.

Thanks for all your replies and suggestions, but the top 3 on my list are what I need more than 4 or 5, coz they're more for gaming, and I'm not using it for gaming at all.

I'm still not able to find good prices for my top 3, all the ones I've seen so far are over priced by about 100 bucks. But thanks anyways. :)
