id go with the first one, if you like it for fighting
midlength gas tubes have a lower pressure impulse and wear less than the short length gas system in an M4.
They don't have as much furniture for the midlengths, but on average, they are more reliable. Also get chrome lines chamber and barrel if possible. YMMV

PS. I love my RRA middie.

Check here for complete rifles at a bargain

Cav arms also sells nice rifles.

could buy the complete polymer lower from CavArms (or whoever), and a complete upper from whoever you want. 2 pins pressed in and away you go.

So you finally sold it? Were you just funding other gun ventures?

ammo costs make me only use my 22 conversion. Fuck full power 5.56 for now.

Yeah I sold it, sending it off tomorrow, kinda just funding other crap I want to do, some gun stuff, some stuff for my truck, just unlocking nearly a grand of cash I had in my closet that I never got to shoot.

    You should get this... http://www.mookiewarrifle.com/

Last off topic in this thread:

i think im going to unload my 8mm ammo, bought like 3k when it was 9cents a round. I'd turn a tidy profit from that.

Hard to decide which is better, the cash, or the rifle...

Yes, If you buy a COMPLETE upper and lower, you get what you want, and you can slap the final 2 pieces together.

You wouldn't save much money this way, but you can get exactly what you want.

TASC is what I like the best. Collapsing stock looks cool, but for shooting the A2 stock is much nicer.

I hate heavy rifles. I'd pay close attention to the barrel profiles on those if you do too. I also would get a flat top with a collapsable stock.
