    Hi,

    I'm planning a new system - so far, I have amd64 x2 3800+ and radeon x800xl pci-e.

I'm pretty much deciding between the asus a8n-sli or the dfi nf4 sli. Any advice will be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

Do you want to overclock? If so the DFI would be the better choice, if not go with the Asus.

Even if you want to overclock I'm partial to Asus. You won't have as many options, but the durability of Asus boards seems to be better.

Well look up reviews man. Tom's Hardware is great. Asus makes some of the most reliable boards out there. But if you want insane overclocking options DFI is the way to go. If you're just looking to do normal/advanced overclocking the Asus is fine.

When it comes down to it they'll both overclock to just about the same speeds. It's just a matter of which one will last the longest.. I'd gamble on an Asus.
