    Tamron seems to be a really sharp lens.

    I just replaced my kit lens with the tamron....want to buy my kit?

    i like the kit lens but i think the tamron would be a great replacement.

    I have the Tamron and like it so far. I only used it on one shoot so far but I did like the results. I never had the kit lens so I can't compare. There was a rebate on the lens when I purchased.
