Im going to college and Ive decided that I want a setup where my laptop will be set up to a dual monitor system so that I can dock my laptop and work off of my 19 lcd when I am in my dorm. Ive been looking at the IBM thinkpad t43. Is this a good laptop for what I want to do or is the video card lacking for what I need? Any opinions on what laptop I should buy for this setup? Thanks

asus. I've seen keyboard failures be a common problem with the ibms.

Asus laptops are relatively hard to find in the States, no? I got mine when I was in Taiwan and it was great; My friends loved it but had a hard time trying to find a place to buy them from.

there's a LOT of places that sell asus notebooks. most of the no-name shops that do it actually by whitebooks from companies like Asus, msi, sager, etc. Unless you're lucky like me and have a genuine Asus one :p

But you can find em online all over the place. A quick search on google returns this: http://store.agearnotebooks.com/asusseries.html
