So I’m in the process of choosing an mp3 player. But I don’t know enough about which product is the best (i.e.: product lifespan, battery lifespan, product reliability, etc). I was looking to buy between:
    1- Ipod nano (4gb)
2- Creative (not sure which one though)
    3- Zune
Now, I’m not sure which one of the three companies makes the better mp3 player; maybe there is a company that is even better than the ones I was looking at. So my question to you OT is, which mp3 player should I go for and why.
    Thank you!

Roughly a year...I had an ipod last 1.5 years until it went belly up. I had best buy's service plan...went back and got another one and didn't have to pay a penny more. :)

Creative Zen Vision M. (30 or 60Gig, I have the 30Gig) Beats the iPod in all possible ways. Beatiful screen, is great to watch downloaded movies on. Better sound quality, the list goes on.

I've gone through 2 iPods so far (an original 5GB, and a 40GB Photo), and they have both been perfect for me. Battery life is as good now as it was when they were new.

I'm a bass head. I still play my JVC super bass walkman. It sound that good.
Which one puts out better bass? Some of my jazz music has very low bass tones

The Zen, because of its custom equalizer and in ear headphone? This combination works well for me.

iRivers have yet to fail on me. Great players, lots of useful features and great sound quality.

Unfortunately if you're looking for gobs of storage, they don't really do that anymore.
