out of the two.. who tends to make more reliable cars. looking to buy a reliable daily driver soon. toyota/scion dealership is 1 min from my house. honda is 10 min.

this is probably a stupid question since they're both reliable.

Toyota. It's 1 min from your house.

Honestly it's the same. Doesn't matter.

as of late i'd say honda. in the past toyota had a slight edge. its really all negligible though.

I was not very happy with my newish civic I bought a few years back. The build quality wasn't up to par with what I expect from Honda (and an $18K new car). I traded it in for a Scion and have been very happy.

wow no smart ass answers yet.

what about a Scion TC versus Honda Civic.. as a daily driver. Honda gets better gas mileage.. TC is more 'sporty'. both cost about the same

I think honda has better resale, but reliability wise they are both the same

The margin isn't huge, but toyota has a new edge on the newer cars

using pure conjecture I'd wager it's because more young males buy scions and they abuse the living shit out of their cars. :o

i dont want an unreliable 'fast' car.. had an eclipse 4g63.. modified it.. was kindda quick.. but DSMs are unreliable.

something that isnt ugly.. can go from point A to B with decent gas mileage.. that is reliable.. that has a LITTLE fun factor

more reliable? is one of them built out of some sort of fantasy iron/steel?

no....common internal combustion engine. ANY car is as reliable as the maintenance you put into is.

ask this, can a mercedes and a hundi both last for 200k miles?

yes they can, if maintained properly.

dont be a fool and listen to the dribble car company marketers feed you.

scion TC has that glass roof which is pretty cool.. and the rear seats can recline.. civic is well.. a civic
