I have a Sig P229 like the one in the pic except mine is all black, no silver colored parts. The grips are all from hogue, can't make up my mind which ones to order. They are all priced around 100 bucks, if you know where I might find some that look like this but cheaper I'd appreciate it too.

Ha, Well the last few handguns I had were revolvers with wooden grips...guess its just what I'm used to.

    SIGs need Nills.

But of those, I like the looks of 5 with a reverse two tone or all black.

Not necessarily pretty, but easy to grip and retain. I suppose it might present some challenges for concealed carry...

"Tri-tone" stainless+black+wood has never done it for me (hell, wood+stainless doesn't usually look all that good). If you absolutely must get wood grips, get something like #3 (Kingwood?) - medium stain with interesting grain.

i was considering the same thing - went with the cheaper hogue rubber wrap arounds like in the picture above from idleprocess and it just makes the gun much better to shoot - great grips

the wood grips seem to be more for looks (at least the ones i was looking at) and with a much higher cost and my mindset of function over fashon, i went with the rubber wrap arounds

i would take 3-6 over 1-2 anyday but my vote still goes for #7 unlisted rubber wraparounds
