I can get both kits for the same price...

Which would be a better overall lense to choose.
Im planning on buying a sigma 50-400mm lense in the spring for shooting dragracing with.

Tips from the pro's and semi pro's would be great.

Please leave the Nikon vs Canon debate outta my thread, I have already decided I want the Nikon over the Canon.
    Thanks

if you can get them for the same price then why don't you just go with the better lens? (18-135)

is it a better lense though, becasue here in Canada the 18-70kit is more $$ then the 18-135 kit. By about $50.

So --- thats why im confused.

Ill see if I can get the specs on the lenses, that might help people understand what im looking at. Im kinda alense newbie and DSLR newbie--- jsut the kinda person everyone loves here.

lemme guess you want $1000 for it :mamoru:

Keep in mind the 18-135 is a plastic mount lens ... not sure about the other one though
