    I seek for best free archivation software (I don't like standard MS Windows ZIP, because of size/time, etc..) I know that every year archive softwares become better and better, but I still don't know which most befit for me.

    I tried to use:
    * 7-Zip - Bad. I don't want to use Non-US based software
    * WinRAR - Bad. I don't want to use Non-US based software
    * WinACE. Bad, because working slow - don't better than WinRAR and 7-Zip

    Do you know some fast, most better than following compressing program, which preferably free, and made in U.S.?

    Why the hell would you want to use ONLY US based software? Therefore discounting both of the best solutions out there, WinRAR and 7-Zip :rofl: Both are GREAT at what they do. 7-Zip being a little lighter (WinRAR is also not free)

    Ban for racism. :mamoru:

    I use WinRAR... not using it because it wasn't bad in the US is a laughable idea. Who fucking cares what country it was made in?

    I'm guessing Deus was referring to how some encryption methods are not allowed to be exported to certain countries. And since some zip programs have such functions available, it might apply...
