Im currently building a new system with a AMD64 CPU but Im undecided what to get.

AMD64 3000+ Newcastle with 512kb Cache and new stepping with improved Cool&Quiet
AMD64 3000+ Clawhammer with 512kb Cache and new stepping and with 512kb dissabled cache

3200+ Clawhammer with 1MB or 3200+ Newcastle with 512kb but with 2,2GHZ and not 2 GHZ of the Clawhammer.

    Sure?

I saw the 3200+ Clawhammer can easily get to 2,2GHZ and has double the cache...

The 3000+ Newcastle can also go to 2,2GHZ.

It will be planted on a Nforce3 250 motherboard so agp and pci is fixed.

Price is also a factor I want the best bang for the buck I can get with the AMD64 CPU.

I'd wait, but if you insist I would go for the 3200+, it's ~$60 difference in price but to me the extra cache would be worth it.

It's not like your are going to really OC either one of these much.
