When I read a lot of diets here in the forum, I'll see a lot of people say things like "35g protein orange juice" or "40g protein gatorade" and things like that. Are you mixing the whey in with those drinks? If so, what kind of whey are you using? I've got chocolate whey and mixing that with orange juice or gatorade doesn't exactly sound like the most appetizing drink. Am I getting something wrong? I've just been drinking it with fat free milk. Are there benefits to drinking it with something else other than water/milk? School me :x:

People usually mix it with gatorade post work out because gatorade has a lot of sugar in it. It's more of a convenience thing than anything else.

I think next time I go buy some, I'll try the strawberry and mix it with orange juice. That sounds better than chocolate with orange juice.

I usually chug a glass or orange juice first thing when I get home from the gym, then I drink ~36g protein from whey mixed in 10oz milk, which makes it about 45g protein all together and probably equal amount of carbs.

Sounds better than mixing them. But then again, I've never tried it. Blade is right, though. It doesn't matter how it tastes, I'll just down it.

you can get berry flavored whey also. I had some Dymatize Elite "berry blast" or some shit, and it tasted decent... Drinking it every day got old though, but when I mixed it with gatorade it was the best shit ever

easier to have someone blow a straw of it directly into your colon. better absorption and reduces the risk of stomach cancer.

I prefer mixing the two in a spoon over a lighter, then mainlining it.
