whey + creatine = how often?

    I just bought a 10lb bag of whey and some creatine. im gonna go to the gym 5 days a week. how often should i drink the shake? i can just mix the whey and creatine together right?

    I was mixing 5mg creatine mono into my pre-workout shakes (hour or so before gym) twice a week.

    this is the 1st time anyone asked a question about whey and creatine on here, but i'm glad you did, DON'T MIX the WHEY AND CREATINE, it becomes acidic and will disolve your digestive system causing a painful death.


    come on man are you serious, sure mix em who cares
    i put 5g of the cheapest mono i can find in my pre and post workout shakes with my whey

    You went backwards here. Spend time on diet, then spend money on diet.

    Do you know how many calories you need? How many grams of protein you need in a day?

    Both of my creatine supps said to take them after the workout, everyone here said before ...

    i put about 1 scoop of whey and 4-6 grams of mono for preworkout shake, then another scoop of whey and ~1-2 grams of mono postworkout.

    Really? Didn't do much for me, and a blood test came back with a normal midrange level of creatinine. I figured I was a non-responder. With a twice weekly workout, should I be taking it daily?

    Im not one to give advice here, but maybe revise the two day workout idea.

    It's the only two weekdays I can consistantly make it to the gym (I work 10 hr days minimum). I'm doing full body workouts for the most part (cycling which exercises I start with/really push myself on), so everything gets worked twice a week, with 2 or 3 days rest inbetween. I'm in no massive hurry to get huge, it's working for me, so I'm really not all that concerned. :dunno:

    what's wrong with only working muscle groups twice a week?

    The bottle says if this is the first time using it, you need to do the loading process. Is that really necesary?

    I thought you were suppose to take creatine with a glucose rich drink before working out and then the whey protein after the workout.

    loading phase is bullshit
    but taking a couple grams of mono a couple times a week probably isn't going to do much good either
