I advertise through signatures on forums, paid links, paid banners and paid listing.

I get a lot of traffic by doing this.

No where yet, however, when we fully launch I have a comprehensive marketing plan with milestones of advertising based marketing. Much of my marketing is Guerilla marketing, but I will advertise in trade magazines, paid listings, yellow pages and local movie theaters before the movie.

also depends on what you are trying to advertise. one of my sites gets about 100 visits a day from google alone.

SEO= Search Engine Optimization. Improves the traffic/volume quality to your site via search engine. Expensive service if you hire SEO experts but quite easy to do with some research.

I was using goclick.com for a while but the conversion rate for clicks/sales sucked. Now I just post on craigslist, and aol chats.

I'd like to find some advertising that actually worked. My budget is around $100/month depending on sales.

Right now through facebook flyers and word of mouth. I'm running a very localized service so promoting it to people outside of orlando would be a waste

I do a little adwords here and there, but not much. Then I'll submit articles to digg, stumble upon, etc... exchange links with other sites... I've never actually paid for a link. Myspace is a good advertising tool as well and sometimes forums if I can post about my sites and not make it look like spam.

I would love to know more about SEO and how it works. Does anyone have any good EDU or informational webpage. Any direct links to any good articles besides forums?
