If you had to choose between the two, which one would you choose. Please post the answer and give a brief explanation as to why. If its because you've only been to one, then say that. If you like the food, living conditions or saw more hot military girls at one or the other, say that too.

    afghanistan.

Pros: less IEDs, better chance of shooting back.

Cons: It's like being back in the middle ages, only with AKs and RPGs up to your eyeballs

They both suck equally. Quality of life in Iraq is better though in my opinion. You go to VBC or Anaconda and they have everything. I didn't spend too much time in Afghanistan but it seems like you have to worry about the little shit alot more than you do in Iraq. So i pick neither.

I'd rather not think about it. Haha...

I've never been to afgan, but I would bet since Iraq is getting the most attention, it would have more facilities on the bigger bases.

I'm seriously thinking about volunteering for Afghanistan next. The only thing slowing me down is the godawful winters. :noes:

As for the poll, I've never been to Afghanistan, so I can't give an informed opinion. :dunno:

Well my unit is the first USMC unit to go back to Afghanistan since the initial invasion back in ~01-02, and pretty much every Marine i've met is jealous as fuck that i'm going to the Ghan.

I personally want to go to both. I'm going to the Ghan in 2 weeks, hopefully i'll deploy to Iraq on my next deployment.
