digital point has the most obvious dumb asses that are happy to buy silly ebooks. That is if it is the usual crap that everyone else on there sells.

If "your" ebook is actually good then there are other options.

used to be able to on ebay, but now they require you to sell it on their classifies section for a stupid amount of money, it is not worth it now

Just the "title" makes me think it's not all that great. Most legit methods don't sound that silly. I'll do a review for you if you want ;).

So you're one of the dumbasses that bought the book, and all it tells you is to turn around and resell it...correct?

did you guys see the one dude selling the ebook on DP for $100...was about "how to make $100 an hour" and it ended up being about collecting aluminum cans in your neighborhood! I woulda been fuckin pissed if I was one of the dumb asses that bought that...but sadly he even got some positive review from people that bought it! Idiots there deserve to be ripped off I guess.

edit: you too can have your $100 ebook here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=919970

why not go about making your own site, marketing it, driving traffic to it, and using paypal as a payment collection method and DL guard as a security barrier.

Or you could get yourself a clickbank account and have them do the legwork and possibly get some affiliates to sell it for you.

You would have to give 50% minimum, probably nearer 70%. David DeAngelo gives affiliates something like 110% on his ebook sales (he gets the customer's email address, and then uses this to upsell etc). :eek3:

Make a good site with some decent content related to the ebook in question. Don't just use a template squeeze page - these are very old hat now. Sprinkle in some SEO, link building, PPC advertising and with some decent copy you should be converting visitors into sales.

I was more referring to clickbank as a payment processor and security barrier.

I personally prefer paypal/DL guard, but i have used clickbank before with some success only giving away 50% commisisons and upselling backend products.

And let's not forget that it's a hypothetical 50% on the sales that your affiliates make, which are essentially sales that you could have missed.

    It's a sales force.

Well yeah - I would give as much away as you feasibly can - you want to entice people to market your product for you.

    hmmmmmm

The first vipcodec.com isn't a valid site any longer

The 2nd is from someone who obviously doesn't speak English very well and is just spyware.

Have you actually gotten paid...meaning cashed checks from these companies yet? They look a bit...unprofessional.
