Well I want to get my foot into the door, so to speak. I've searched the interwebs and didn't find anything too interesting.

Where to start? As far as in this whitehat blackhat business.

I don't care, as long as it works - of course with blackhat techniques i assume a certain about a conservity is needed so you don't get caught.

Anyway. Thanks in advance for any information / links.

Eh, it's arguable, honestly. Do I think it's important that you lessen your titles to under 55 characters? No. But many "SEO Experts" think it is, because certain search engines will only display a specific number of characters in their search results. ie: google will only display 66 characters within your title tag.

I guess it plays more of a factor in visible marketing. Are you more likely to click on a URL with a coherent title than a title that seems to be cut in half?
