I know where i can purchase the red/blue adistar weightlifting suits online, however I'm looking for one of the black/white/grey suits. Nobody seems to be able to tell me where to find them - do any of you know anywhere?

The suits i am talking about: http://www.dynamic-eleiko.com/products/liftingsuits.htm

I saw a guy competing with the black one i want a couple of months ago but didnt get a chance to ask him where he got it :hs:

after a replacement for the one i currently use (see my av) as the sleeves are too tight around my shoulders/lats and it sucks

off-topic but I wish local stores sold adidas oly lifting shoes. Hard to know if they fit without trying them on.

Does this give the same kind of aid that a shirt or squat suit has, or is it just a unisuit?

no benefit at all unfortunately, although for some reason when you put it on you feel as though you have to do it justice and end up lifting heavier than usual :o

I was just asking because it looks a lot like the unisuits that rowers wear for competitions and www.jlracing.com has tons of customizable ones. They are just single ply spandex, you could look there to see if they have anything you like.

yeah i actually came across that site some time ago, but the adidas suits are a decent durable material, especially on the thigh where the bar brushes against, and also (at least my suit) has a protective material on the clavicle where the bar rests so it doesnt get worn through and get holes in it.
